Typographic Installation

This typographic installation is inspired by terms used while climbing and rappelling to insure safety. The letterforms are made of foam insulation reinforced with wood and then wrapped in paracord. The script font was used in "belay" to show the freedom and romantic feelings that come from outdoor experiences. "ON" is made in a bold and strong font which demonstrates safety and trust which comes from having someone belay. The phrase belay on signals to the person climbing or rappelling that the person belaying is watching and ready to stop a fall if necessary.
